Atramat® Nylon
Indicated for use in the approximation and / or ligatures of soft tissues, including general closure procedures, cuticular use and plastic surgery.
Monofilament-
Composed of: Aliphatic polyamide 6 or 6.6
Gradual loss of tensile strength over time.
Strand color: Blue, Black.
-
• Minimal tissue reaction.
• The thread passes smoothly through the tissues, minimizing tissue drag.
• Allows easy removal of stitches (according to the experience and technique of the surgeon) which avoids the dragging of microorganisms.
* For more information consult the instructions for use.
Atramat® PDX
Polidioxanone
Indicated for use in the approximation and / or ligatures of soft tissues, including general closure procedures, cuticular use and plastic surgery.
Monofilament-
Tensile strength: Fourth week 70% of the original tensile strength, sixth week 50%. Total absorption: 180 - 220 days.
Composed of: p-dioxanone monomer
Absorption: Hydrolysis.
Strand color: Violet or Undyed.
-
Minimal tissue reaction.
• Greater security in the knot with the appropriate surgical technique.
• Violet color provides excellent visibility in the surgical field
* For more information consult the instructions for use.
Atramat® PGA
Indicated for general use in approximation and / or general ligation of soft tissues, as well as for ophthalmic procedures.
Multifilament-
Tensile strength: it retains more than 70% of its original tensile strength at the second week, 50% at the third week. Total absorption: 60 - 90 days
Composed of: glycolic acid homopolymer filaments.
Absorption: Hydrolysis.
Strand color: violet or undyed
-
• Minimal tissue reaction.
• Greater security in the knot with the appropriate surgical technique.
• Violet color provides excellent visibility in the surgical field

Atramat® PGC25
Indicated in soft tissue approximation, but its use is not indicated in cardiovascular and neurological procedures.
Monofilament-
Tensile strength violet strand: first week 68% ofthe original tensile strength, second week 41%. Violet | Total absorption: 110 days.
Composed of: copolymer of glycolide and caprolactone [poly (glycolide-co-epsiloncaprolactone)].
Absorption: Hydrolysis.
Strand color: Violet or Undyed.
